I work for the Chesapeake Bay Trust which is an environmental grant-making nonprofit in Annapolis. At the Trust I manage our youth development program, the Chesapeake Conservation Corps, and environmental education grant programs and initiatives. Recognizing that the future health of our environment, economy, and communities depends on an environmentally literate and engaged citizenry I hope to focus my efforts on how to build an environmental stewardship ethic within our youth. I am particularly interested in the development and implementation of high-quality environmental literacy programs at the county-wide public school system level, preparing young adults to be leaders in the environmental field as well as improving the pipeline to environmental careers for youth.

I recently bought a house with my boyfriend and two audacious cats and have been loving playing in the dirt and finally having my own garden. i am obsessed with yoga and in my free time I go hiking, biking, camping, to concerts, the movies or the beach. And I am yearning to travel more!
