•May 08: New England Fellow Emily Enderle was invited to be the keynote speaker at the National Environmental Studies and Sciences Summit at Arkansas State University

•May 08: Southeast Fellow, Amadou Diop, had his article entitled "The Legacy of African American Land", published in Forest Wisdom.

• Senior Fellow, Na'Taki Osborne, was recently appointed to the Sustainable Atlanta Advisory Board. Na'Taki also had her article "Sittin' with the Womenfolk: A Journey into the Lives and Leadership of Women of Color Environmental Justice Activists", published in the Winter 2007 issue of Whole Thinking Journal.

•May 08: New England Fellow Liz Hoover was awarded a Switzer Foundation Environmental Fellowship

•MAY 08: Senior Fellow Kristin Martin was invited to join the Board of Directors of the Institute for Humane Education
