After eight years of living in northwest Wyoming, Rebecca is adjusting to life in her home state of New Hampshire. From dogsled guide to knitting teacher, wolf ecologist to biology teacher, ski instructor to librarian, she draws on a rich and varied employment history. As the Ecological Manager for the Squam Lakes Association, Rebecca manages all ecological activities for the organization, including invasive plant management and water quality monitoring programs. She also oversees a herd of interns and a flock of volunteers, creates much of the graphics and outreach materials for the SLA, and occasionally gets to share the Squam watershed with school groups. Rebecca holds a BS in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire. In her free time, Rebecca explores the world by foot, bicycle, skis, canoe, kayak, and in her family’s veggie powered Ford F-250.
