Environmental Leadership Program

Lauren is the Vice President of New Ecology Inc., located in Cambridge, MA. New Ecology is a non-profit organization that promotes community-based sustainable development through green building and economic development projects. Lauren works directly with developers, engineers, and architects to provide them with technical expertise necessary to produce cost-effective, environmentally sensitive projects. These projects include affordable housing, community youth facilities, and elder care developments. Lauren also spends her time helping existing building owners analyze their energy and water usage and implement conservation measures. Lauren is a LEED accredited professional, and has a Masters in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University. She received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Cornell University.
