Biography: 

Since 2003, Billie has worked to strengthen Toxic Free NC's connections to people all across North Carolina, to find and develop leadership among volunteers and activists, and to help communities organize to win on local projects that reduce pesticide pollution. She coordinates much of Toxic Free NC's outreach and organizing work, the Community Leadership Council, and our intern and volunteer programs. She helped to found and serves on the Board of Directors for The Beehive Collective, and volunteers as a children's garden manager at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County. She holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University (2001), and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University (2005).
