Biography: 

Anne Ogilvie is the International Director of Field Management at Earthwatch Institute, where she leads an international team that works directly with scientists to deliver safe, high-quality citizen science research projects around the world. We collaborate with scientists and community leaders in over 35 countries to develop and operate environmental research projects that are implemented by local and international volunteers. We seek to gather data and produce scientific results that will inform local, national, and international environmental policies and agendas.

Anne has a BS in Zoology from the University of MA at Amherst and an MS in Adult and Organizational Learning from Suffolk University. She has a passion for organizational learning and works both within Earthwatch and externally as a trainer and facilitator. Previously, Anne has worked with the Catalina Island Marine Institute, the Sea Education Association, and the New England Aquarium. She has a love for the ocean and lives with her husband, son, and two dogs in Gloucester, MA.
