Environmental Leadership Program

Alan Hipólito is executive director of Verde (www.verdenw.org). The mission of Verde, a tax-exempt nonprofit, is to improve the economic health of disadvantaged communities by creating environmental job training, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities, fostering the connection between economic vitality and environmental protection and restoration. He has two children, Ezekiel Calvin and Isabela Blue, with Lisa Terrell.
