Sustainable Jersey is a municipal certification program to help communities in NJ improve quality of life. The program provides clear guidance and technical assistance as well as incentives to aid municipal achievements in the areas of People, Planet, and Prosperity. Other states are interested in developing a similar program, and Maryland already launched "Sustainable Maryland" with support from the founding program in NJ. Join us for this webinar to learn about the program, how it was established and continues to be administered.  You will also hear from a local community participant and how the program has helped to launch a successful sustainability program that has galvanized the community and saved the Township thousands of dollars.  Join us and learn about the great successes that are making strides towards a more Sustainable New Jersey.

This webinar will feature Patricia Ruby, Program Manager at The Municipal Land Use Center at The College of NJ and Natalie Barney, Land Use Planner and Business Liaison at the Cherry Hill Township. Patricia and Natalie are Senior Fellows of the Environmental Leadership Program.
