DIVERSITY

The Environmental Justice Fund
The EJ Fund is a national membership organization dedicated to strengthening the environmental justice movement. It helps build the capacity of the environmental justice networks to strengthen their funding and programs. The networks themselves, while distinct, are all comprised of community-based organizations working to achieve environmental and economic justice, and are led by communities of color.

Environmental Justice Resource Center
The EJRC at Clark Atlanta University serves as a research, policy, and information clearinghouse on issues related to environmental justice, race and the environment, civil rights, facility siting, land use planning, brownfields, transportation equity, suburban sprawl, and Smart Growth. The goal is to assist, support, train, and educate people of color students, professionals, and grassroots community leaders.

Minority Environmental Leadership Development Initative
MELDI aims to enhance the leadership and career development opportunities available to minority students and minority environmental professionals. The website provides information to help more minority students embark on careers in the environmental field, as well as help current minority students and professionals take advantage of environmental networking and mentoring opportunities.

Women's Voices for the Earth
Women's Voices for the Earth is a nonprofit, women-centered environmental justice organization that was founded in 1995. Their mission is to empower women, to affect environmental policy, to create an ecologically sustainable and socially just society. The organization provides information, leadership training, and other resources.
