Kimberly Roberts
Executive Director
As Executive Director, Kimberly is responsible for managing staff and ensuring successful implementation of programs and operations.
Kimberly brings to the ELP community 13 years of experience working for social and economic justice in political, labor and community
organizing. Most recently, Kimberly served as the staff and organizing director for the National Training and Information Center.
Prior to NTIC, Kimberly was the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Screening for the AFL-CIO Organizing Institute, where she helped
recruit and train a new generation of union organizers. Kimberly is Treasurer of the Gaithersburg Elementary PTA and Leader of Girl
Scout Troop #75 where her daughters, Emma and Amelia, are both members. Kimberly and her husband, Tony, enjoy introducing their
daughters to the outdoors and watching them develop a passion for nature.
Errol Mazursky
Deputy Director
As Deputy Director, Errol manages the recruitment and selection
process for ELP's three regional networks as well as overseeing the development of fellowship
programming and retreats. Additionally, Errol manages ELP's Activity Fund grants. Previously, Errol was a public health fellow at
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where he worked on community outreach programs and the
development of international cohort studies to investigate the environment's impact on
children's health and development. Errol served in the U.S. Peace Corps as a health
volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa and was a Crisis Corps Volunteer in New Orleans, LA
where he contributed to the response effort of Hurricane Katrina. Errol currently serves on the
Board of Directors of Greenbelt Homes Inc., the Greenbelt Development Corporation and the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders program.
Maria Dolores Rodriguez
New England Regional Networks Program Coordinator
As Program Coordinator, Maria Dolores helps to manage and develop the New England Regional Network
program and also provides support for organizational operations. Maria Dolores holds a master's degree in
Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason
University. During graduate school, Maria Dolores’ primary area of research was culture and conflict. For
her final thesis project, Maria Dolores worked on a year-long research project involving indigenous
communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rain Forest and their relationship to transnational oil and timber
companies. Most recently, she worked at Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care where she coordinated an
after school-tutoring program, managed a multi-program database, and provided conflict resolution trainings
to staff.
Adam Robinson
Mid-Atlantic Regional Network Associate
As the MARN Associate and program assistant, Adam helps promote ELP's national
programming and assists with various others regional network projects and events.
Adam also aids in the launch of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Network Fellowship Program, ELP's latest regional network.
Prior to ELP, Adam was a teen coordinator
for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale in Fountain Hills, AZ, and later planned charity
events for a local DC sporting company. Adam is a graduate of George Washington University.
Cerise Bridges
Southeast Regional Network Program Coordinator
As Program Coordinator, Cerise helps to manage and develop the
Southeast Regional Network programs and also provides support for organizational operations. Cerise recently graduated from American
University with a master's degree in environmental policy. During graduate school she was a
team leader at Shaw EcoVillage, where she worked with teenagers educating the community about
the problems and solutions of storm water runoff. Cerise also interned at the Trust for Public
Land, researching major breakthroughs in the country's city parks system. Most recently, she
worked at The Nature Conservancy doing financial and operational support for the Mesoamerica
and Caribbean Region. Cerise is also former Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Kenya as a
Small Enterprise Development Volunteer.
Tonya Rouse
Office Coordinator
As Office Coordinator Tonya manages the administrative and financial operations of ELP. Outside of ELP, she donates
much of her free time and resources to various causes including feeding and providing necessities to the homeless and
disadvantaged. She works as a stage manager/director/and writer with a local theater group that deals with relationships
and other relevant issues. Recently, she participated in a trip to South Africa that fed and clothed thousands in the
impoverished township of Tembisa. In her spare time she enjoys writing, drawing, and painting.
Jane Keat
Program Development Coordinator
Jany researches funding opportunities, writes grant proposals, and works to measure the impact of ELP’s work. She has 5 years’ experience working in development, including with a community-based organization and a national training and advocacy organization. Before getting into development work, Jany studied literature.
Russom Woldezghi
Technology Coordinator
As Technology Coordinator, Russom manages and responses to the technical operations of ELP. Currently, Russom is studying International
Affairs at the George Washington University. Russom has worked with large organizations such as UNICEF and small non-profits such as
Belo Rural Development Project (BERUDEP) on issues such as rural development and water sanitation. He regularly volunteers with at-risk
youth in the Washington DC Metro Area. He enjoys spending
his time wondering through flea-markets and of course the occasional skydiving, base jumping and everything in between.
Meghan Nicholson
Development and Communications Assistant
As Development and Communications Assistant, Meghan develops communications materials and assists in building relationships with donors.
Prior to ELP, she worked for the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio as a public relations intern where she advocated their mission to foster
access to opportunity for the 29 counties in the region. Meghan received her Bachelors of Science in Journalism from Ohio University in
June 2008.
